By accessing or using BuildWhatWeWant (“BWWW,” “the platform,” “the service”) at buildwhatwewant.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
BWWW is operated by Keystone Digital Labs LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”), a Pennsylvania limited liability company.
BWWW is a demand intelligence platform where:
The platform aggregates consumer input into market intelligence products that entrepreneurs purchase. By participating, you understand and agree that your contributions — including votes, wishes, attributes, and tips — are aggregated into data products that are sold to entrepreneurs. This is the core of our business model and is described further in Section 4.
To use most features, you must create an account using either an email address and password or Google OAuth. You must provide accurate information and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
You must be at least 18 years old to use BWWW. By creating an account, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from or provide services to anyone under 18.
Users may operate as a Consumer, Entrepreneur, or Admin. You may switch between Consumer and Entrepreneur roles at any time. Role selection affects what data is visible to you and what features are available, as described in the platform interface.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate any user account, revoke access to any features (including purchased reports), and remove any content, with or without notice, for any reason including but not limited to violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, abuse of other users, or conduct that we determine is harmful to the platform or its community. Terminated users may not create new accounts without our explicit written permission.
We will make reasonable efforts to notify you at the time of termination and provide a reason, unless immediate action is necessary to protect the platform or other users.
You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@buildwhatwewant.com.
BWWW is a data product company. When you submit a wish, cast a vote, suggest an attribute, or share a community tip, that contribution becomes part of a demand intelligence dataset. We aggregate these contributions — combining them with input from other users — to create data products, including Demand Intelligence Reports, that we sell to entrepreneurs and, in the future, to institutional buyers.
In plain language: Your votes, wishes, attributes, and tips are the raw material for the reports we sell. That is how this platform works and how we generate revenue. Our tagline makes this explicit: YOUR DATA IS BEING SOLD. YOU'RE WELCOME.
We do not sell your name, email address, or account credentials. We sell aggregated demand intelligence derived from your platform activity. An entrepreneur purchasing a report sees collective demand signals — such as vote counts, attribute preferences, and community tips — not your personal identity. The limited exception is Community Intelligence tips where you explicitly opt in to being contactable (see Section 7).
For full details on what data we collect and how it is used, see our Privacy Policy.
By submitting content to the platform (“User Content,” including wishes, vote activity, attribute suggestions, attribute votes, community intelligence tips, and any other content you submit), you grant Keystone Digital Labs LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, modify, aggregate, analyze, display, and distribute your User Content for the purpose of operating the platform, generating Demand Intelligence Reports, creating derivative data products, and providing data via API or other distribution channels.
You retain ownership of your content, but you give us the right to use it as described. This license survives account deletion for content that has already been aggregated into purchased reports or data products, as those products cannot be retroactively modified.
You may choose not to participate. You may delete wishes, withdraw tips, and delete your account at any time. However, contributions that have already been aggregated into purchased reports cannot be retroactively removed from those reports. See our Privacy Policy for details on data retention and your rights, including rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and other applicable privacy laws.
You agree not to submit content that is:
We use AI-assisted and manual moderation to review content. We reserve the right to remove, flag, or reject any content that violates these standards without prior notice.
Each user is entitled to one vote per wish. Attempts to manipulate vote counts — including creating multiple accounts, using bots, coordinating inauthentic voting campaigns, or any other method of artificially inflating or deflating demand signals — are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination.
The integrity of our demand data is the foundation of our business. We take vote manipulation seriously.
Demand Intelligence Reports are AI-generated market research documents that aggregate consumer demand data, competitive landscape analysis, demographic information, and other data points into a summary for entrepreneurs. Reports are generated using a combination of platform data, public data sources (Google Places, US Census Bureau), and AI analysis (Anthropic Claude).
Reports are informational tools, not business advice. Purchasing a report does not constitute a recommendation to open, invest in, or pursue any business venture. We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or commercial viability of any opportunity described in a report.
Reports are generated by artificial intelligence. While we design our AI systems to produce accurate and useful analysis, AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information. We do not manually verify every data point, projection, or competitive analysis in every report. Viability scores, revenue projections, and strategic recommendations are AI-generated estimates based on available data, not guarantees or professional advice.
Reports reflect demand signals and data available at the time of generation. Consumer preferences change, competitive landscapes shift, and economic conditions evolve. A report is a snapshot, not a prediction.
You are solely responsible for any business decisions you make. We strongly recommend consulting with qualified business advisors, attorneys, accountants, and industry professionals before making any investment or business decisions based on report data.
Reports are available at three tiers: Standard, Builder, and Investor. Prices are displayed on the platform and may include category-based adjustments that reflect the relative investment scale of different business types. Final pricing is shown before purchase.
Payment is processed by Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's terms of service.
Due to the digital nature of Demand Intelligence Reports and the cost of AI generation, all report purchases are final. We do not offer refunds once a report has been generated and delivered.
If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from accessing a purchased report, contact us at support@buildwhatwewant.com and we will resolve the issue or provide a replacement.
If you believe a report contains materially inaccurate information, contact us. We will review the report and, at our discretion, may issue a corrected report or a credit toward a future purchase.
When you purchase a Demand Intelligence Report, you receive a license to use that report for your own business planning purposes. You may share the report with business partners, investors, or advisors. You may not resell the report, publish it publicly, or use it to create a competing data product.
Different report tiers provide different levels of access to Community Intelligence tips and other features, as described on the platform. Upgrading from a lower tier to a higher tier for the same wish may be available at a differential price.
Some wishes on the platform were identified through market research analysis of public online discussions. These wishes are labeled as “research-sourced” and include estimated demand signals rather than actual platform user votes.
Reports are not available for purchase on research-sourced wishes until those wishes receive sufficient organic votes from real platform users. This ensures that entrepreneurs only pay for reports backed by verified community demand.
If you have voted on a wish that has an active Demand Intelligence Report, you may submit Community Intelligence tips — structured local knowledge intended to help entrepreneurs. Tips are moderated before becoming visible to report purchasers.
When submitting a tip, you may optionally indicate that you are open to being contacted about your tip. This consent is voluntary, defaults to off, and can be withdrawn at any time. See our Privacy Policy for details on how contact permission works.
Tips you submit may be visible to entrepreneurs who have purchased reports at qualifying tiers. By submitting a tip, you acknowledge that the content of your tip will be shared with report purchasers as described in the platform interface and Privacy Policy.
We may in the future introduce features that enable limited, structured communication between entrepreneurs and consumers through the platform. Any such features will be subject to additional terms and consent mechanisms that will be presented to you before use. The introduction of communication features will not retroactively change how your existing data or tips are used without your explicit consent.
Entrepreneurs may configure demand alert rules to receive email notifications when wishes matching their criteria cross vote thresholds. Alerts are subject to per-account limits on the number of active rules and daily notification volume. We reserve the right to adjust these limits.
The BWWW platform, including its design, code, AI systems, report templates, branding, and aggregated data products, is the property of Keystone Digital Labs LLC. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without our written permission.
You agree not to:
THE PLATFORM AND ALL CONTENT, REPORTS, AND DATA ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KEYSTONE DIGITAL LABS LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO:
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Keystone Digital Labs LLC and its members, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Before initiating any formal dispute proceeding, you agree to contact us at disputes@buildwhatwewant.com and attempt to resolve the issue informally for at least 30 days. Most concerns can be resolved this way.
If we cannot resolve a dispute informally within 30 days, any claim, dispute, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the platform shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Arbitration will take place in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, or at another mutually agreed location. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent the actual or threatened infringement of intellectual property rights or to address platform security concerns, without first engaging in arbitration.
YOU AND KEYSTONE DIGITAL LABS LLC AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims and may not preside over any form of class or representative proceeding.
Either party may bring an individual action in small claims court in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, if the claim qualifies under the court's jurisdictional limits.
You may opt out of the arbitration and class action waiver provisions by sending written notice to disputes@buildwhatwewant.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. Your notice must include your name, email address associated with your account, and a clear statement that you wish to opt out of arbitration. If you opt out, disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on the platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
If you disagree with any changes, you may close your account before the effective date.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Keystone Digital Labs LLC regarding your use of BWWW.
